Introduction:
Core values are the fundamental beliefs of a person or organization. They are the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action. Core values can help us make decisions about what is right and wrong. These values can help us determine if we are on the right path to fulfilling our mission. They are an unwavering and unchanging guide. These are the guiding principles that help to define how we should behave.

Taken together with our mission and vision statements, the core values provide a context for who we are and how we hope to treat each other, our customers, and our public. The core values listed below were identified by the BHS Senior Management team as we reflected on the service we see BHS employees and contractors provide every day.

In the future, we hope to be very intentional about how we live out our values.
We will tie values to a variety of organizational activities, including recognition, events and celebrations.
We also hope to assess what we do to ensure the culture moves in the direction we desire.
We have asked all BHS employees to review the core values contained in this survey and to respond to the questions below.
Recognizing that our contract provider organizations are integral to the work we do, we are now asking for your perspective.
We are especially interested in hearing your stories about how these values live in our organizations.
Your input will assist in drafting a brief narrative associated with defining each of the values from a BHS perspective.
Please complete the online survey no later than... Thank you!
